Part of the "Prayer Plant" family whose leaves turn or fold up in the evenings then lower again in the daylight.
Prefers bright indirect light but can take lower light. Thrive in warmer temps with higher humidity. Water less frequently in winter when plant goes dormant. In nature can be found on the forest floor trailing along the ground.
